Ok, so i have two bad 02 sensors....it seems that buying the pair of simulators from jegs for 80 bucks is the cheapest fix.....do they hurt anything......will they make the check engine lite turn off?

if i end up running simulatrs, is their a CAT-LESS Y-pipe that will bolt up to my stock manifolds?

what sensors are bad? the o2 sims only replace the rear o2's not the fronts(before the cats). Might be better to get a custom tune and have them delete the o2s and gain some hp at the same time. I dont know of any y pipe that bolts up to the manifolds, sorry.

You can O2 sims for the rear sensors only and no they do not hurt anything.

If it's your rear O2 sensors that are bad, then yes the SES light will turn off.

If you run a cat less Y-pipe, you will still need the sims...but you should be able to find one or have one made that will bolt up to your stock manifolds.

    Re: 02 simulator questions.

Which O2 sensors are bad? Both the pre and post cat sensor or are you running dual cats? O2 simulators only work for deleting the post cat sensor. The pre cat sensor must be truly functional for the PCM to work properly. You have the option of installing a wideband sensor with narrow band simulation in the pre cat location but that is expensive. HTH

You can only delete the rear O2 sensors. Here's some links to most popular.

You can have them disabled when you order your custom PCM tune and you will achieve the same desired effect
