I have one on a votec 350 and its alright i guess. it sounds alot better than stock that for sure. My MPG got a little better about ten extra miles per tank. As far as power gains go there was a slight increase but no much. It does work well however with a full exhaust. And i only paid 163 shipped, so look around for a better deal.

Yeah you can get them on ebay in the 160 range. I dont think they have a heat shield do they? Thats why i went with a K&N.

yea, im looking into that CAI because it will work with a TB spacer, im not sure what other brands will fit with a TB spacer and not hit my hood

nice truck.. i have a 92 silverado as well.. same bed but its a reg cab. i have the airaid throttle body spacer and airaid intake on.. they work well in unison but if you decide to get the intake just watch for clearance with the hood insulation.. i ended up cutting a little square out right above the filter.

I have the same truck you have, but its 94, and I have the K&N intake kit. I did notice quicker throttle response and a bit more power. It also made the engine sound loud and with a nice tone.

the power increase was nice.. many people complain of a sound like a vacuum leak but its just air rushing in with a lack of silencer.. I think its pretty cool once you get used to it.. and with the airaid tb spacer, it sounds like a nice superchager in the higher rpms..
