    1992 C1500 reg cab.. 5.7L 5speed manual 308 gears, catback exhaust, cai, tbs.. its time for me to really start cutting into this truck to get it moving better.. what do you guys think i should look at next?

    lookin to keep it under $2000 :\ are there any kits available for a 90-95 5.7L? I didnt find any when i got curious and looked

    from what you listed, the gears would make the biggest difference in performance.

    Thanks.. I've heard 3.73 are decent daily driver gears.. would 4.10 give that much of an advantage? How much more would it hurt my gas mileage?

    Headers with a true 2.5 or 3 inch dual setup (depending on what your going to do later) and 4.10's should get you moving very nicely

    From what I've seen on trucks 4.10's seems to be the drag racing gear in the truck and 3.73 is more all around. With 4.10's you will suprise alot of people with the quickness of your truck off the line. you might want to look into a locker too like detroit true trac. All that sould run you around 1K if I'm not mistaken.
