i just got a hypertech progamer for a 2000 GMC Seirra and i would like to know all the good setting for that programer

I had the HPP3 in my 2000 GMC Sierra Z71 5.3l 3.73 gear pickup

My settings were set below with no issues for about 100K miles

• Stock Thermostat
• 93 Octane (later switched to 87 octane and felt no difference)
• Shift Firmness
• Top Speed: 110 MPH
• Rev Limiter: 6200
• 1-2 +4
• 2-3 +7
• 3-4 +5

I sold it on ebay and went with a custom tuned PCM from www.wait4meperformance.com - better bang for your buck

2-3+7 mean
3-4+5 mean

I believe that's controlling the specs of when & how hard the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shifts take place.
