This is a discussion on need help within the Performance forums, part of the General Discussion category; ok i just put a bbk throttle body on my 2003 silverado with the 4.8, i did what it said ...
ok i just put a bbk throttle body on my 2003 silverado with the 4.8, i did what it said in the instructions and disconnected the batt overnite, let it idle for 10 minutes and still as soon as you give it more than 1/2 throttle it hits limp mode and throws a code- i do not have a way to read the code and can not afford to take it to the shop for a problem that they will just tell me to uninstall the bbk. anyone have any ideas on what the fix for my problem is.
just incase it helps i just put a jet stage 2 chip on before the tb and my truck has cai and exhaust but that is it for now.
