I picked up a gibson catback for my truck(actually been sitting in the garage since december). I got underneath the truck looking at exhaust and noticed that the cat is an aftermarket one welded to the tailpipe and y-pipe. i want to replace the entire exhaust from the headers back being that nothing but the cat has been changed. what header should i go with? i would like to stay at about $300 range. Also what cat should i go with? i want/would like something that bolts up to the y-pipe end and universal at the tailpipe end as it will be clamped to the gibson. anyone have this/ would it work well or should i go with a stock unit? any help appreciated.....
