    OBDII scanner help

    Well my truck threw a code the other day and i had autozone hook there code reader and they kept getting errors. So my dad is bring a OBDII scanner home tonight. Just curious what cool things can i do with this? I know you can get intake temp, but how? And what else can i look up? Thanks!

    Which one does he got? My auto xray gives me everything from air/ fuel ratio to tps sensor readings.
    O2 GMC RCSB 4.8L V8 AUTO 3.73's
    rebuilt/beefed up 4L60E(at 43,000miles)
    Matching Ninja 500r
