I heard that there are these dummy o2 sensors that you can plug into the O2 sensor wiring harnesses in place of the actual o2 sensor. It sends a signal back to the computer telling it that every thing is good to go. They are used for vehicals that have OBDII and no cats so that the check engine light doesnt come on and the engine runns right with the cats removed. Anybody ever used or heard of someone using these? If so where do you get them and what kind/how much are they?

1997 GMC K1500 XC 9in 35's
1990 GMC K1500 406, Predator Carb, 5Spd 32's
They sell for about $80 a pair, it's cheaper than having them programmed out of the computer
they are call O2 simulators for the rear HO2S. not for the
front HO2S. they just relay false info to the computer to
keep the rear HO2S signals from tripping the SES light.
