For all you denali owners...I'm looking at buying a 2003-2005 Yukon Denali. I have a few Quick Questions

Does the heavy denali with the 6.0 liter, have performance capabilities and how does it size up against a lighter vehicle with the 5.3. I plan on getting a tune and mabey an intake.

How exactly does the AWD system work? Can it be turned off? Is there also a traction control? While engaged what exactly is different between it and say a z71 truck in 4wd?

What kind of Gas mileage can I expect with a tune, and a set of 22's?

The traction control can be turned off, but the AWD can't.

The Yukon Denali after 2003 uses an open center differential and ABS controlled AWD. The Sierra Denali 02-06 and Yukon Denali prior to 03 use a viscous coupler in the transfer case to achieve AWD. A 4x4 truck uses a locked center differential.
