I've got a 1990, C1500 std.cab, stepside, with a badly rusted right framerail. It's in the transition to the front A arms, so I don't want to patch or graft into the strongest section of the frame. Can anyone suggest an aftermarket company for a complete front clip (subframe, control arms, spindles, etc.) I am capable of swapping in a junkyard frame, or a new one from my local Chevy dearer to the tune of $2800.00! At that price, I wouldn't mind spending more time and money on something that will make this truck handle better on the street, as I will be keeping it for life.
