I picked up a 2006 Crew Cab 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0. I had a F350 6.0 diesel that I wasn't too impressed with and wanted to come back to a GM.
What mods are out there to increase MPG like tuner, exhaust, intake etc? I drive mostly city with some occasional highway.
I tried searching but I couldn't really find anything for the new 6 speed auto tranny, and I was thinking it might be different.
Thanks for any help I can get.

I have yet to see anything that works enough to make a real difference. You can spend money on all that stuff, but do it because you love your truck (welcome back to GM by the way) not because you think you'll get any better gas mileage. That way, if you do, that's a bonus.
Used to own a FSC, now I just have my extremely old Buick.
Have some perspective please. Thank you.
A custom tune is your best bet. But don't expect miracles either. Most see a 1-2 mpg gain but it will take quite some time to recoup the cost of the tune back from the increased mileage. Its a 6.0 ltr motor. They have never been known to get the best mileage especially with the HD's. The AFM and the 6 speed help but only marginally in such a heavy truck.
