Camel hump heads are OLD technology. Get some vortecs or World heads or somthing similar. I think camel humps barley flow 200 CFM on the intake. They also have poor designed combustion chambers.

Ya but i am getting them for free i am a student and dont have a lot of money i have 190s on my truck now so the camel humps are 202 do u this the stuff i listed is a good combo
what heads were you running?
Stock 190's
soo i did some searching on that carb and its not smogable in ca i need a good carb that i can smog anyone know of one
camel back's = high rpm heads
get a set of vortec heads or aftermaket based on vortecs
they flow better in the usable rpm range or street
free 40 hp
they will be better that what you had,but vortecs would better suit you
Well i cant do the camel hump heads becuase it takes a lot of brackets for power steering pump and i think i am just going to do a new intake and carb does anyone know of some smog and emissions intakes and carbs and a new dress up kit and do a good cleaning what do you guys think will it be worth it and how much extra hp will i get and also a 1" carb spacer ...
You could go with a sleeper cam, wide LSA with higher durations. If you keep the LSA nice and wide you can run higher durations. It'll take away a little bit of midrange compression but I doubt the emissions will be effected.
whats LSA and i think the cam will make my emissions not pass what do u think if i do the intake and carb does anyone know of emissions carb and intakes plzzz help
what year of truck are we dealing with here? that will play a major part in what carb you can use.
