Is my temp ok?

So i was planning on getting a chip but until then I'm running the 180 tstat that is needed I'm wondering though if its to low for my stock chip according to an ohm meter its running around 175 degrees is this ok or am i hurting fuel mileage?

it wont hurt anything but it will hurt your mileage a little.

My old 88 had a 160 in it when I bought and drove it for a year like that with no problems so you will be fine until you get a chip.

And by the way who are you getting your chip from? if you dont mind me asking because I was thinking of getting one for my new truck and will have the same exact mods as you so I would like to know how it helps or hurts.

which one are you getting? I have almost the same truck as yours and want to get his hot chip but not sure if thats the right one or get the stage 2 since my truck has longtube headers.

the hot chip, i have stock exhaust i think even with the stage 2 you need a cam upgrade email brian and ask him what he recomends.
