    I found a set of 601 heads with a holley intake for $350 the heads are ported and polished have screw in studs and guide plates and springs good for .500 lift would this set up be worth getting

    601 heads are some of the best flowing non-Vortec heads there are.
    If they are ported well (by a professional), then you are golden.
    If they aren't, you're still good with the screw in studs, .500 lift, and Holley intake.
