    TH400 parts in a 4L80E?

    what will fit? I know the 80 is an evolution/redesign of the 400, but how far does it go? Can I use a 400 converter in the 80? clutches and such.. Hopefully the trans gods will smile down and give me a break for once... Thanks guys

    Not a trans expert, but I'm quite sure the many parts are interchangeable.

    Torque Converter would not be, however. 4L80e is lockup, to my knowledge TH400 never had lockup.
