Hello! I own a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 4.3l v6 W/T single cab, short bed . I love this truck! Even though it's a v6, it's a strong, reliable motor. :) I would love to add some more horsepower though. And no I do not have the money to swap for a 6.0 :P Also, does that edelbrock performance intake for the 4.3l help? and would it fit my application? and would it be hassle? and I have done a catback exhaust system though so far. With a single in, dual out Flowmaster 40 series muffler,. I would love to know some suggestions you guys have! Also, I was planning on adding a two inch lift to the front. So if you guys could also post some pictures of your trucks :) I would love to have some input thanks !

Here are some photos of the motor (: and of the truck

the only thing worth it (other than build the motor/boost it ... which if you don't have the money for a 6.0L you won't have the $$ to do that either) is a BlackBear or Nelson tune, regear, get rid of the restrictor cup on the TB blade, bigger TB, shift kit/vette servo, and an intake if you want the noise (the performance difference isn't much to write home about for the intake, but it is there ... barely).

Hahaa yeah, being in school, the budget gets tough. :) And I think I saw a video of your truck on youtube nice truck btw! and have you gotten rid of the restrictor cup on the TB blade, gotten a bigger TB, and gotten the shift kit/vette servo? Where could I get those things? And how could I remove that restrictor cup? Also, how much would the blackbear tune cost? :) I wouldn't want to void my warranty though D:

If it was a ECSB dark gray V6 truck it probably was. Not too many V6 ECSB NBS in dark gray (not pewter) it seems ... but thanks

I haven't done the TB yet but Mykk on the forums has when he used to have his 4.3 and he noticed a good improvement. My restrictor cup added a few ponies too (not as much as the TB from what I'm told) and mainly helps throttle response.

Everything else you can find anywhere that sells parts really ... try Jegs.

My tune was $260 and I got $60 back for a core when I sent my stock one back in. I'm getting it retuned soon for premium gas -- all returns after your first are free minus shipping.

I also forgot e-fans (but your truck already has those, right?) and underdrive pullies.

Sweet! thanks! I'll look into these things :) and yeah I think so. Did those underdrive pullies do any damages? Because, I heard somewhere, it causes alternator problems and such. I wouldn't want to risk anything D: How have those underdrive pullies been helping out so far? Any negative results? and yeah that was your truck! hahaa, I remember the 18" Titans
