well, im going to be swapping my Performer RPM to a Victor on my orange truck. figured i might as well pick out a set of new valve covers at the same time

here is what i have it narrowed down to, i really like the retro looking ones cause they go with the theme of my truck (Carb, rally's, etc)

anyways, any thoughts? anyone used any of these?

The fabricated aluminum covers will look out of place. Go with the finned covers...they're pretty sharp looking. Hate me if you want, but I think you should paint them orange, and leave only the fins showing shiny aluminum. That would look great IMO.

I'd go with the fabbed covers, however I'd get a plain set that isn't polished or anodized and give them a brushed finish. I did that to a cheap set of polished aluminum valve covers I got on eBay and they match the cast aluminum finish of the intake really well.

Between your choices, I'd say finned. Have you looked into Moon eyes? They have cast aluminum valve covers that have 2 breathers to each side. They look really nice.
