hi, i have a 2008 silverado 5.3lt. im after a throtle body spacer & and a cold air intake but im not sure what to buy, dose anyone know what the best product on the market is ? thanks. anthony.

Throttle body spacers have little to no affect on dry intakes and your factory air cleaner and duct work is a cold air system.

I agree you need to do alot more or it won't be worth your money.
I have an airaid dont know if it really works or not
tb spacer does absolutely nothing, as far as the intake, make one out of pvc and paint it and connect to the stock box, or buy the airraid modular tube and connect it to the stock box, i got an aluminum tube from one of those ebay kits from my uncle for free, and i noticed a nice increase in throttle response, a closed box is much better as far as cold air is concerned, than an open box, i used a k&n drop in filter in the stock box with a smooth tube and it worked great

thanks, i ended up getting a k & n drop in filter in the stock box, the air raid modular tube, & i thought id try the air raid spacer & see for myself.
Good choice on the modular tube, but the spacer does NOTHING, not an opinion thing, it's a fact. Can't work on a dry intake.
Tell us how everything ends up working.
whats a dry intake ?
one where the fuel is introduced after the throttle body...tb spacers only work on 88-95 trucks and the old carb spacers work on older trucks
and you probably created more of a hassle than anythings by getting the spacer, just makes the tube more difficult to line up, and all u will get from it is maybe a whistle

is a performance maf sensor worth buying ?
x2!....do exactly those things and you will be faster than 90% of the other nnbs trucks on the road, and for less money than most worthless bolt ons, just the tune and headers will make a huge difference, converter will make it awesome, just depends on if ur willing to do that
