    maybe .2-.3, but it all depends on the engine, when the shifting occurs and where the engine makes power

    typically less of a difference if you have less power, more if you have more power

    sometimes changing gears will make you run out of RPMS too fast, causing shifts that were not there before, which can actually slow you down in terms of ET

    Used to own a FSC, now I just have my extremely old Buick.

    Got a 06 chevy! waight proble about 6300 lbs an on 22s its making about 330 rwhp an 305 tq motor proble making about 410 hp or lil more 3000 stall! I ran a 8.7 @ 77 mph the 1/8 an my 60ft was 1.87 an I was on 22s with street tires nvr could stall it an launch and my rpm is set at 6450! 1st gear goes to 60 an 2snt gear is 110 mph red line

    I'd run the tallest gear without having to shift to 3rd.

    I came stock with 3.73s and they were pretty lame. Swapped to 4.10s and it sucks a little less now. With such a tank of a truck, you could prob trap 2nd with 4.10s. Have you run it past the 1/8th yet to see? Or will you only run the 1/8th?
