O.K. guys, I've gotten some intrest on making certain threads on TBI mods "stickies". Most of the threads found while using the search feature veer off-track on some shape or form. If you have any info you would like to share or links to threads that talk about this topic......this is the thread to do it in. Thanks!

Well this isn't really a link to a how-to, but these people know
their stuff about the 220 TBI.

    Talking Homemade Intake

I removed the funky air smoother box from my intake, and replaced it with a piece of 4" non-perforated drain pipe from home depot. Its pretty simple, make a couple cuts on the fender piece so you can squeeze it down smaller to fit in the end of the drain pipe, then shove the rubbery reducer thingy that is on the side of the air cleaner into the other end of the tube. Simple as that! I've had it on there about 8 months now, and havn't had a problem.

    Total Cost: about 2 bucks.

Looks alot like the one that Turbo city has for sale. I also am thinkn' about picking one up. It apears that it should help along the flow I just don't know if the increase will be quite what they say it will be. We will see.

STOCK LT1 cam from 94-96 engines. a chip is probably required for this mod, but it's cheap and supposedly good for 30hp.

I recently purchased a K&N exstream, I bought it knowing it wouldnt help anything but mabey give me some unoticable power increas or that little better fuel mileage.

    I was wrong.

my motor had a slight bog to it or hesitatation when id be moveing in 3rd gear going 25-30 mph and mash the throttle. after installing the filter set up the bog is gone. I can mash the throttle to the floor with no hesatation whatsoever.

it may not have made more power but its alot more crisp and respnsive.

Im considering turbocitys deal under the k&N filter

looks like Im off topic to.

I was just flippin' around for TBI stuff and I came across these. They're L98s (1083 right?) and starting at $50! I already have mine or I would have snagged these up in a heart beat! Just looking out for my fellow forum members!

Smoked tails, 22" Forte Shooters, Steel Roll Pan, 2" drop shackles, Aerochamber Muffler.
