    Yea, I'm getting everything together before I start, engine will be completely done one it's set in the truck.

    Been reading all I can find on LS swaps, everyone talks of automatics, I have a K1500 with a manual, has anyone done a the engine swap and kept the manual trans?

    I know 91blkspeed has a 5 speed in both his trucks. He's the man to ask about Manual Transmissions, you can find his thread in the resto section.. its a baby blue looking truck with 20's and a 5.3 mated to a 5 speed.
