    Re: Cadillac 500 Swap

ran into a snag with the oil pan, got a little to excited when i bought the engine. i had this thought that rwd Cadillac engines had a rear sump oil pan however i had it backwards. guy i picked it up from just so happened to have a brand new rear sump pan and pick up tube, and let me get it from him for 60. engine is still on jack stands, really hasnt made any progress. sounds lame but im honestly held up on making the a/c work. everthing else seems to line up, motor mounts look easy enough , alternator and p/s pump are the same. and the heater outlet is gonna be fine i think and the tps can be adapted. im not sure the transmission needs anything else to shift. but yes i will be using the stock 4l60/241 until i find a good 400/205 combo.
