Hi all I just wanted to ask if anyone has gotten rid of their 4.3L vortec and swapped a carbed 350 in?? Not worried about resale, not worried about gas mileage, and not worried about the transmission as I have a manual 5-speed. My truck is a 1996 k1500, with 218xxx kms, and have been fighting with the motor for a year now. I have replaced every sensor and enough is enough!!! Truck runs like a bag of crap, and is going through coolent....Has anyone done this swap?? let me know as I have just a couple questions to ask....

your going through coolant because you need to replace you lower intake manifold gaskets. thats why it runs like crap, and i wouldn't swap a 4.3 vortec for a carbed 350. stock for stock the 4.3 makes more power and torque.

4" spindle lift, 2" block lift, 3" body lift
31x10.50x15 = looks too small. needs 35's
