I think I decided on a true dual system. 40 series Flowmasters with an X pipe. What will the sound be like in the cab? Loud is Ok, I just dont want it too loud. Anybody have a similar set up on a HD with the 6.0? Thanks.

I don't have an HD, but I do have a 40 series and it's dumped before the axle. I have cab resonance, but not enough to kill you. I'm sure you won't have nearly as much w/ tips.

I had a 50-series delta dumped right before the axle. Sounded great at first, but I think I have permanant headaches now;)

My 40 series dumps down along side the spare tire. Only real resonance is at around 2k RPM. Nothing real bad and I drive on the highway everyday.

    I have an ext cab.

I think I will go ahead and use the 40's. If it gets too loud I will just swap them out for 50's. I plan on getting 40 series delta flows, is there a big difference between the regular ones and the delta flows? Thanks.

Many muffler choices and people who like them. If you go with Flows (40s), the delta flow 40s have less resonance in the cab. Had them on my 00. I just want to recommend that you definitely use a X in your system. It is well worth the bucks.
