i was just wonderin what the loudest muffler i could get for my truck was that would still sound good, its a 350 .60over with the 202 heads and headers, i have true duals with cheerypoppers that arnt even the same lenght?? they sound really good i think but i am gonna replace them so that i have 2 of the same mufflers, i love for my truck to be loud, i dont mind if it pops either, i dont have cats either.

    12" dynomax bullets
can pick em up at summit for $45 shipped

they sound unbelievable on NBS trucks
but on the obs, i've heard they might do some popping on the 350, but i don't have any first hand knowledge of that

Ohhh, you've got a dual in... Didn't know that the 97 5/7's had that.
A Y pipe would be the way to go w/ the Pro Shootout. If it's dumped, I can tell you it's going to be pretty dayumn loud. We've got them on our Sprint Car (mid you it's right off the headers, dumped on a 600 hp methanol beast ) but it's loooouuuud.
they've got a nice, smooth tone, deep down low and a mean ass raw sound at higher rpm's. I was just messing arund today and pulled the 14" Magnaflow off my Dodge and threw a Pro Street on I had laying around, and it was quite a bit louder, and deeeeeeep too!
    Sounded incredibly good!

I can imagine it'd be louder dumped too!

Yea i had dual 12 inch bullets on mine and they popped pretty bad maybe an x pipe culd of quieted it down a lil, but they don't sound that good on the obs, on the nbs they sound good. All vortec 350s are noted for that pop. I put some 24 inch thrush glasspacks on and they have almost no pop at all, and isn't really that loud has a good tone.

I wouldn't waster your money on the bullets though unless u have a nbs. jmo though

The loudest muffler, is no mufffler. If you don't mind the popping just get some hi-flow cats off ebay and run straights after that.

My buddies 96 Chevy have that setup and it's louder than my truck with not cats and 18 inch glasspacks.MIne doesn't pop but his does some at high RPMs.

i dunno i think i am gonna stick with my setup, runnin glass packs and headers, it sounds pretty good since i cut the pipes off right after the glass pack, but i do got a question, one of my glass packs is alot longer than the other, one guy told me that they do that to me them louder???
