I am still thinking of what I should do with my grad. money. How does this setup sound? X-pipe into dual Flowmaster 40 series and a turndown tip on each. Does anyone have this setup? If so does it crackle, baffle, or pop at all? If so @ what RPM range does it do it?

My attitude might get me banned..Why is FSC goin all off on me over nothing? I love you guys, don't be hatin.

I have that same setup pretty much and mine never popped or anything...but I had the TBI motor too, which is a totally different engine.....I don't know if it would on the new motors or not...

what do you have on your truck now??? it sounded pretty good from what I heard

oh, and BTW....what was up with your boy's white truck??? I saw you both do a little burnout up by the church...yours smoked em' pretty good, but his barely turned the tires over...does he have a 350 or a 305????

your truck seemed like it would move on pretty good....you ever had it up to beach bend????

Thanks I love the sound, but just wanting some more HP. He has a 350. I don't know it's got power, but more sound than power (bigger bark than the bite.) I've been trying to get the guys to go to Windy Hollow or Beach Bend, but one is scared his engine will blow up so he's a *****. I have timed it from o-60 and it's just a little over 6 sec, but that's with a 250 lbs. guy in there with me.
    I've got a Flowmaster 70 series

with a 250lb guy in there with you:LOL::LOL:

yeah, yours wasn't that loud but it had a nice tough sound to it......and you need to come up to beech bend sometime and run your truck.....I'm usually up there on sundays...we have a super pro car that we run up there and at union hill (music city raceway) and every now and then we go down to alabama with it....

Here is an .avi clip of the exact exhaust you are talking about:
    http://sshotrods.com/media/vids/johnexhaust.AVI
(tip: download it to your hard drive then watch it) That is a buddy of mine's and it sounds pretty baddass in person expecially when it is under load.

I also have that same setup with Magnaflows and it sounds very similar to the one above but not as echoey sounding.
