If you do all those mods to the motor I don't think it should be too big. If you weren't I would say go 2.5"

i am looking at getting summits kit that is single 3 in and dual 3 out. it exits straight back . would this be to large? the muffler is single 3 in and dual 3 out. i have a tbs and intake already and plan to add headers, chip, and maybe a cam

Should be fine. Might lose a tad low end torque. You will gain top end hp though.
how will it sound? deeper tone or somethin like that?

youll lose a little bottom end and loud comes to mind
