I HAVE A 2000 TAHOE 5.7 THAT HAS A SINGLE FLOW 40, SINGLE 3" IN AND DUAL 2.25" OUT W/ 3"X18" CHROME PIPES. THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD IT INSTALLED AND THEY Y THE DUALS OFF THE CATS INTO THE SINGLE INLET AND DUALED IT OUT. IS THIS A NORMAL SET-UP, SOUNDS GOOD/LOUD. IS IT HURTING IT PERFORMANCE WISE?

This is what most people go with, it won't hurt performance.
