ok so i am installing my LT headers saturday at the muffler man and he is finishing the piping. the headers are 3" into the flanges, one guy at the shop says to run 2.5 from the headers to the y and then single 2.5 to the 40 series muffler where the piping ends. The other guy says, which is what i wanted, to run 3" the whole way, so it would be 3" from the headers to the y and then 3" single into the muffler where it ends.
so which is the better setup, my truck specs are in my sig.
Thanks
Tim
