Does Flowmaster or Magnaflow (or anyone else for that matter) make 2 in / 1 out mufflers? I see on their website 1 in / 2 out. I've got an 02 Sierra Denali and it does not have a "Y" pipe before the muffler. It's a 2in/1out muffler. I would like to keep it looking stock and would be pretty neat to do a 2in/1out muffler vs. adding a Y before the muffler. I don't want it too loud, more like a 50 series. any help would be great.

YES... both make DI/SO mufflers. Magnaflow is reversible - straight through design. Flowmaster is directional, so you'll have to specify DI/SO when ordering. I'm certain that the other manufacturers do as well.

Ok, great. Thanks! Do MagnaFlows tend to be more mellow? (Hard to tell on internet clips.) If so, what would you recommend.

magnaflow will have the sound vary due to case length, the longer the length the more mellow and quiet it will be. At the same time, it's a straight through design so it will breath a lot more then a chambered muffler will

I just got a DI/SO 18" Magnaflow put on yesterday and it has a nice mellow sound compared to my Super 40's I had. Granted I did like the 40's better because they were louder, Ive notice a huge gain from going from true duals to the setup I have now.

Prior to my current setup (Stainless Steel 2.5" DI/3" SO Magnaflow cat-back), I ran a DI/DO DeltaFlow 50. It was nice and mellow. I've been very pleased with my Magnaflow system which is quieter than the Flowmaster I had previously, especially when comparing them at cruise. Both speak well under throttle. The muffler case size on my cat-back is 5"x11"x22"

Here's a link to where I purchased mine - much cheaper price than the Magnaflow site lists them.
