I want to put true duals on my 99' 2500 4x4,with the 6.0.
I noticed the truck comes stock with no y-pipe,but dual pipes and cats all the way back to the single muffler.So I figured I could have a local shop custom bend some pipes and put two mufflers and tailpipes on,right?BUT, I also noticed the stock system is welded to the cats!If I do the true duals will I have to buy new cats?This will most likely double or triple the price of the system.
Has anyone here run duals and used the stock cats?Thanks in advance,Drake
