I've tried to find the shape of the l31 exhaust ports so i can purchase some copper header gaskets to replace my blown papers ones.
Ive been looking at the SCE gaskets on summit and this is the page that it brings me to once i narrow down my search as far as possible. Link
If someone could help me out as to what shape or size the exhaust ports are that would be great.

Nope...Yes i already googled that and ive been staring at that exact picture for a little bit now. If you would take the time to look at my link you would see that the "style" section of the "browse by" is vague.
You have a choice between round, square, oval, d-port or rectangle. And by judging the pictures off of summit none of them look quite like the exhaust port which you nicely provided.
EDIT: If i had my guess i would say it would be square port....but im looking for someone who actually knows rather than just a guess

Thats also what i have read that the manifold gaskets work well too. What type of headers do you put on your truck? Did you get any ticking from them? Im thinking i just might get the manifold gaskets and some locking header bolts and be done with this.Originally Posted by LiftedVictory

I also got some 1" (very important to get 1" and not the 3/4") locking header bolts (I used "Stage 8" if I was to do it again, I would use "Percey's" locking header bolts. They are Stainless and I like that design better. I HAVE NOT had any problems with the ones I got, I just like the "Percey's" design better.
