Cherry Bomb Vortex vs. Extreme which one?

Which one sounds better? I am looking for nice nasty loud tone but not on the inside. I can't deal with to much interior drone sound. I was set to go with the extreme but I have been told the Vortex is a good one to go with because it will be quieter in the cab.
This would be for my 08 silverado with a 5.3.

What do you think?

you are comparing apples to oranges.

i have the extreme on my 5.3. great sounds, loud, pretty mean sounding. has some drone, but not much (with cats)

my older brother has teh vortex on my 6.0. it is a very mellow sounding muffler, not really all that loud. his has some drone as well, less then my extreme however. the vortex does not sound nearly as agressive as the extreme.

I can attest to that. Mine is a couple small steps up from stock. Of course my muffler is what ties both banks together, I'm sure if I had true duals the Vortex muffler would be louder.

Thanks guys. I guess that settles it. I will do the extreme and if it is "to loud" for my taste I will put a couple of those glass pack monza tips on to mellow it down a little.
