I am looking for some headers for my NNBS 5.3. I would like some longtube but can only find the dynateck set and all I want is the headers. If I can't find any then I am going to just get a set of Gibson shortys. Do y'all know of any.

    Thanks,
    Tim

DO NOT BUY SHORTIES! Unless, of course, you're putting this engine into a Jeep and need the room. American Racing Headers make some nice pieces.

Built tranny sitting in the bed waiting to go in. Good things to come...

Spend the extra money and get stainless steel too. Totally worth it.

    Re: Longtube.

I have heard the OBX headers are the old style Dynatechs( dunno for sure). Many people report bad fitting problems, but others report that they fit fine. If you are willing to make an adjustment here and there, the OBX is a better price than the dynatechs with the same quality.

I run OBX and I love them! Yes the y-pipe is a pain but it all goes together alright.

    Re: Longtube.

Pretty sure that Dynatech headers are the only ones that currently fit a NNBS 4WD. Pacesetters for a NBS will fit on a 2wd NNBS but not 4x4.
