Dump them behind the axle or in the corners. If you get tips, maybe get black 3.5" slash tips. I would dislike big chrome tips on that truck!

I would drop 2inch tips or even just the exhaust pipe itself right out the corner. curl them down from the bed and just leave a couple inches poking out. Let em see just enough to open up the curiosity. I personally have 3.5x24 inch tips coming straight out the back, but I don't have a black truck and I have a decent amount of chrome on it.
I'd say straight out the back like the_husk has, but powercoated black. You can get regular aluminized piping angle cut and then just paint them, that would be cheap or get chrome tips off the shelf from an auto parts store and paint those.

-2002 Ford Ranger-
for an OBS though, each tip angled out towards the tail lights. looks so good, my bagged truck had it when I first bought it and then we did it to my buddies truck. Best looking exhaust setup IMO

Dump it....
Because even if you decide to MAYBE, EVER, put a body lift on there, any kind of tail pipe is going to look dump. UNLESS your exhaust guy is really good and he can run it between the bed and the frame and dump it in the corners of the bed. Plus dumps give the truck a meaner sound and wont be too deadly inside if you get the outlets pointed the right way.
