Ok so i plan on building a 383 in a few months but i really want to put a full exhaust system on my 95 RCSB. As of right now its the norm. TBI 350. My question is that can I get any ol' headers for it and be able to bolt them on aftermarket heads in the future when i throw in the 383 (excluding vortec heads). As far as I know a SBC head is a SBC head untill you get to the vortech systems... em i correct? And also is there any long tubes out there that don't hang below the frame... my truck has a 6,8 drop in it? I know shorties will work but long tubes are preffered.

I would go long tubes and most dont habg below the frame.

and and header made for your 95 will fit any SBC head you put on it vortec or not.

I had vortec heads on my 88 and the fit fine no problem and I got headers for an 88
