Exhaust Questions

I am really beginning to consider and exhaust system as my next mod. I have been looking around to see which ones I like the most, and I have decided on doing something custom, but I am not sure exactly how it will work. I have a friend with a 2006 diesel sierra and he has the MBRP duals. I love they way it looks with the 4 inch piping and 5 inch tips but I have a 2004 5.3L, not a diesel. How could I get this same look with my truck? I have already decided on the muffler I am going to buy. It is going to be the magnaflow in the video below because I love the sound of it. I don't want anything extremely loud or "redneck", just a nice deep rumble. If anyone has any insight on how to do this please let me know. I will take some pictures of it if I need to.
