I am currently running 6 pounds of boost. You can go higher, but you have to mod it somehow. I dont think id push more than 6on mine though, at least not with out further work on my engine. I dont have a pressure release valve either, which is obvious when I let of of hard throttle or shifting during hard runs. But otherwise it doesnt matter. I think Ill get that soon.

Thing is runnin strong man. As far as price goes its definitely the way to go. The installation was a snap as well. The only thing is you have to adjust the belt tension by hand, there is no tensioner. I just use a breaker bar runnin down the side of the charger makin contact with the block. I notice you got a mild cam, howd much improvement is that? Keep in mind im running stock cam and heads, so it can only be so good despite the charger you know, VERY restrictive. Im gonna throw on some Trick Flow heads and a good cam. That should really get it movin. But that wont be for awhile, probably a year or so. I tell what a blast to drive is my dads Vette, I dont get it though man, its only 250hp, cuz its a '90 with TPI, but the thing flies. Plus you get the outstanding handling.

    Re: Wynjammer?

Well I really dont know what size cam b/c I bought the truck w/it in it but I know it has one cuz It has the feeling and a little lope sound(dont know if that makes sense but). I plan to step it up and put on vortec manifold w/Fast burn heads if not Edelbrock E-Tec 170's. Im not sure on the cam though right yet still researching . I know what you mean on the sports car I had a 98 Trans Am and Im missing it BADLY right now considering I have the 4.3 in the truck right now I plan on swapping in the 350 within the week or 2 (the 94 in the pic got hit by a semi so I bought a 92 4.3 5spd)

oh yeah so you replaced your fuel pump, injectors, and you have an AFPR, right? Anything else that you changed on you fuel system. And how hard does your truck pull in what range? And have you dynoed it again yet? Sorry for the questions but I am quite interested in the setup. I figured id spend the money on this instead of a NEWER 97-99 Vette, I can wait

    Re: Wynjammer?

i have an afpr set at 14.5, and i added the 69# injectors plus pump. The installation on that was pretty fun, drove it around with no bed haha. I never did get it redynoed. I plan on driving it up to woodbridge for them to burn i custom chip based off the dyno results. Im sure itll be perfect then. The charger is good lower down and mid. But of course its not much top end due to the incredibly crappy cam and heads. I want to get trickflow 23 degree heads and a mild cam.

Running 6psi with this kit would there be any benefit in fabbing up an intercooler? I think it could be done relatively cheap. Or maybe just some kind of cold air intake?

    Re: Wynjammer?

im really curious about this as well. I need to get a tune because of my future higher psi and i wanted to get it dyno tuned so i wanted to make it worth while and throw one of these on there. Any input on dynos would be great help. Good post. I have a mild 355 that this charger can really wake up.

    Re: Wynjammer?

So how do you like it? Does it make good power. If so where do you feel the most change? More so in the higher rpms or down low? The more info the better. Thanks

    Re: Wynjammer?

    Very pleased with it.

I bought the kit slightly used and got it for a song. I even installed it without the instructions.

Seems to start building boost relatively quickly. Of course, the higher the rpm's the more boost.

When I first installed it, I thought my tranny was slipping on the 1-2 shift. Finally figured out the tires were spinning on the shift and not slipping the tranny.
