How much HP would be needed to get a CC 1500 to run in the 13s? I am bouncing some ideas around right now as to what size turbo I plan to have installed. I would like to see around 350 to 400whp. With a ring and pinion change from 3.08s to 3.73s and get a higher stall would that be any were near were I would like to be. Give me an idea what your truck has at the wheel and the weight and gearing of your truck and I will desided what upgrades need to be made. Thanks, I will have more info about the turbo kit after I go talk to Bryan Hinson of Hinson supercars. But the entry level kit will be around 3500 and make around 110 to 130 extra HP with a 60-1 turbo. When we install it Truckin' has agreed to do a feature on the install. Thanks for your help

imho... at least mid 400's. but then again that's my o.. i had a big block 92 truck that went 13.07 way back in the 90's i never put it on a dyno but then again it really didnt matter to me since i had turned the times...... for some odd reason it was slower at the track than on the street.....(not that i ever tried anything on the street....)he, he, ha ha!!!!

my stock crew cab ran 15.8 then wit intake and a flowmaster it went 15.4 a tune will prolly hit 15 flats.. i think with full exhaust system and a decent cam u could do it... i have 3.73 with the locker.. my buddy has 3.42 wit a 5.3 and has corsa exhaust, superchips, and a 100 wet shot running 13.6 and it has the peg leg action no locking rear end...ant

I think a set of 4.10's would be better than 3.73's but that's just my opinion.
