Supercharging a chevy 6.0L

I bought a 2000 Silverado 1500, 4x4, 4.8L, 5-speed manual with 4.56 posi gears front and rear. It has a 6" suspension lift with 315/75/16 Baja Claws. It has power so I installed a 6.0 out of a 3/4 ton chevy. I bought a hypertech programmer, powerdyne BD-11A supercharger, 75-125 wet spray NOS kit, rebuilt trans and performance kevlar clutch. The supercharger came with -Fresh rebuilt by powerdyne, head unit has new bearings,balanced , new kevlar hd internal drive belt. It comes with 9 and 6 pound pulleys, both pulleys have been lightened, and balanced. Polished supercharger bracket, polished spacers,polished
washers, polished 12 point arp bolts for head unit mounting. This Powerdyne kit has many upgrades. MSD boost control(new in box), three fuel pumps;1 155lph,1 190 lph, -1(new)vortech 70 psi@50gph-(4)different sized 6 rib belts -- huge air to air intercooler(polished), 3" intercooler piping kit(polished), -(2) k&n filters(1new), - crank pulley(new paint) This powerdyne flows 800 cfm, it can be modified to 1250 cfm. I have powerdyne instructions for mustang install. I have msd and vortech fuel
pump kit instructions. My question is can the engine handle it? Do I need anything else? I think all I need is Injectors but can someone help me please.

Well i am no expert, but i think a basically stock 6.0L is not going to hold up very well to a supercharger and spray. I just think the cylinder pressure would be way to high for a stock bottem end.

Also you will need a hell of a lot more tuning then you will ever get from that hand held tuner. You will probably have to get a custom dyno tune to run the truck at its full potential.

You'll probably be ok, what you got there is a LQ4 which has pretty low compression to begin with, and its an iron block most likely. So you'll be ok with the supercharger, even though powerdyne doesn't have the best reputation even with an inter cooler you'll be having some high intake temps.

You're also going to need a ton of fuel management, I'd say at least massive injectors and a big pump. Nos and supercharger is going to = crazy lean mix. But I think you'll be able to manage that.

Forget the hypertech that things going to need custom tuning. The hypertch will actually advance timing making detonation even more likely.

Spark plugs, NKG makes some spark plugs that are a really low heat range. Thats what I've heard a lot of FI people use.

A 160 degree stat, if you tune for it will also help lower the probability of detonation.

Thats all I can think of at the moment, the bottom end on the LS engines are pretty durable.
