yea ive seen the marine intake, how much does it cost to do and is there another option?
Expect to spend about $1000 when its all said and done with. The actual physical manifold is somewhere between $500-$700 IIRC.
Since the supercharger is made specifically for his truck, he can't run an aftermarket fuel injection system without the TB being in a different spot. That's where the marine intake comes in, looks stock and measures out stock.

i saw a post on this forum about 3 months ago i believe saying someone finally came out with bigger injectors for the stock manifold, around 30lbs i believe. ill look into it in a sec.
as for the pump just use the walbro 100psi in tank pump, i got mine branded under edlebrocks name on summit racing for around 100 bucks i believe. use regualr delco plugs, maybe one range cooler and i like my taylor wires, msds are good too. maybe get a blaster coil while your at it. no real need to get a new distributor, a good cap and rotor will be fine.

that what i figured but what sure my bud threw that at me but i was doubting it
Yeah sorry to hear he is bummed. These trucks out of the box are not exactly minded for performance enthusiasts. But no reason to give up! When bolt-ons fail, go custom!

LOTS of guys over at ls1tech.com and ls1truck.com have done these swaps. They are very knowledgable about the subject and if your friend wants to go that route I would suggest you ask over on one of those boards.
Why not a 6.0?![]()

I am running this Marine Multi-port intake and did the swap my self. I am running 42# injectors in mine for boost. I like the intake for the ablity to put what ever size injector that you need for your application. My .02
