Maybe there's a burr or other imperfection in the hole. Maybe try looking down it with a flashlight to see if there's anything obstructing it.

ok so maybe i wasnt clear about the intial post. but its ok i got it in. had to take the s/c back off the motor and remove the j tube. so now the question is does anyone have a belt routing diagram for the 6.0 with mp112?
