so where on the 5.7 can i inject the seafoam? i know on later model 5.3's i gotta find a intake vaccum tube and inject there. i was almost thinking just take the intake off the throttle body and spray into the manifold that way. whats some advice on this?

whoops that might help. its a 97 5.7
I used the brake booster on my 96. Just be sure to have it running whenyou pour it in....

I use the seafpam spray and spray into the PCV port
Brake booster line works great, only problem is that is doesn't get into the front 4 cylinders all that well.

What worked for me was to raise the right side (drove up on a dirt pile) and use the vent hose from the right side valve cover. I just turned the hose upside down and poured the seafoam in while it was running. I would pour until a slight bog, let it recover and do it again. I pulled the intake 3 weeks later and it looked great, including the front cylinders.
