The truck is an 05 2500 hd. It has a predator programer and an s&b cold air intake. I thought torque management would be drastically removed when installing the predator. Is there anything else i can do besides an exhaust to make it faster?

another thing. The truck is giving me a random missfire code and has even worse mileage now. Is it possible that the trucks computer doesnt like the intake and tuner? i just did plugs and wires.

I wouldn't expect any decent performance with a P0300 code being thrown.

It's a 3/4 ton with the 4L80E's 2.48:1 first gear. Even with 4.10's and provided you have stock height tires it will never be a tire shredder no matter what the interwebz tells you....... well unless you do a lot more to it than what you have now.

Fix the random misfire code and see what that does for you for one.

The Predator is what I think tuned my buddies 05 1500HD when I pulled his tune to redo it. It added timing and removed some stuff...... but left most of the torque limiting, abuse management and worst of all, the power enrichment delay. Removing all that garbage made it night and day. Plus I set the shifts to reasonable rpms and deleted the torque management which honestly just made the shifts nice and crisp.

Contact a diablo custom tuner if you want to keep it and get a custom tune...... after you repair the truck.

you might have a coil going bad. But besides PE mode being pretty much disabled stock, low timing, TM, abuse mode etc. Burst Knock settings effect your performance from a dig a lot. they are set to pull something like 8deg timing stock when you pin it from a dig. Hptuners is really the best tuning option even though it is $500. I've tuned my car and 3 others, making back about $300 on the tuner so I think i did good so far.

It will spin the tires if nothing is wrong and you have it custom tuned correctly. My old truck did. Sure the 1st gear is super long, but it will still do it. 60 in 1st gear was fun

Plus, I didn't think TM did anything on take off, only during shifts? I thought the abuse management governed the take off?

Used to own a FSC, now I just have my extremely old Buick.
Have some perspective please. Thank you.

Abuse management, torque limiting, PE delay of 1 minute, 17 degrees of advance WOT, Burst knock...... And probably some other crap.

You might spin the tires empty.

EFILive or HP tuners will fix all these problems for you. What Diablo's CMR software can do in reality, I do not know.

to help with the p0300 take the injector rail and the injectors off the intake when you take the lines off cap the lines so it does not drain. drain the rail into a glass jar inspect for contamination. i work as a GM tech and we ohave alot of rails filling with water throwing a p0300.
