They'll work, but if the block isn't decked you may be better off using a set of .015" gaskets, it will help avoid detonation/ping.

Ok I just got some vortec heads, edlebrock intake for vortec heads to 4 barrel carb, tbi adapter plate! Before I start I was just curious if I can just get the gaskets from autozone or advance or something for now what they have in stock and what.all gaskets do I need? The truck is a 93 silverado with a 90 350 tbi out of a van and the vortec heads are off a 98 if this helps and is currently in the truck running strong lol just want the vortec heads! Thanks in advance

'92 Sierra (TBI 383/Vortecs/Comp 08-412-8/EBL/4L60/3.08s), '78 Malibu (Vortec'd 350/4-speed/2.29s), '87 Pontiac Fiero GT (2.8 v6/5-speed)
Ok I'll get them, what about the intake gasket for the edlebrock? And its for a 4 barrel bit I have the tbi adapter plate so use a 4 barrel open gasket then tbi adapter plate then a tbi gasket?
I would use whatever gasket the adapter has (or open it like I did in the center if the adapter is open). There are some "fixit" steel core/silicone gaskets that I would use, or there are some traditional paper style gaskets. The steel gaskets are a little pricey in the $50+ range but they're great... no silicone etc. needed around the water ports (I always put sealant around the water ports on my intake gaskets for peace of mind).

For Vortec intake gaskets these are about the best you can get.

They are a little pricey, and the set includes gaskets for the original L31 plenum, TB and one valve cover, but I don't know of any other way to get those intake gaskets. I have also read that some guys are able to get a better price on that set from O'Reilly's or Autozone.
