Just an update, I've done two tuning sessions on the '71 Cutlass I mentioned previously in this thread, with great success. I used the very limited XDF that I had (I need to find a hack for $85), and an A138.ADX that works great. I actually imported one of my dashes I created in a $59 ADX to use on his car last night while sitting in the passenger seat and reliazed that I hadn't done that yet. lol I think I got the ADX from moates.net fileman. It might have been an ADS that I imported to TP RT V5.

Ok, I added a pin to the ECM connector at B16 for my wideband signal and it does not show up in the datastream. Any idea why this would be? The XDF has a comment with instructions to send the signal to B16 and I know the Factor, etc are right. I just took this same wideband off my Beretta with $A1 and it was reporting to the datastream correctly.

Resolved: had to enable "Linear EGR" in the BIN for the B16 pin to report to the datastream.

D'oh! I knew that... but you said you read the XDF instructions. I helped a guy here figure that out awhile back before I ever used it myself. Glad your going!

I am using the $0D TP5 v250.adx file, I connected my wideband up to the input on B16 using the formula that was set up (X * 0.039063 + 10.000000). When I connect up to the serial port on my LC-1 I notice that what is displayed in TunerPro displays differently. My LC-1 is showing 2 points difference. If TunerPro is displaying 14.1 then my LC-1 is displaying 12.1. Does anybody know how I would change the formula to get these to display the same?

X * 0.039063 + 8.000000

That is only if it is off the same the whole way though. My AEM wideband has a completely different formula (.047xxx + 7.xxx).

So I must be doing something wrong but I can't seem to access the moates fileman pages? Has something changed or (more likely) am I doing something wrong?

Moates was kind enough to give us the full collection, they can be found at link below under the moates folder, most of the bin files and defs are under motes files in there. Some links to tech documents have not been restored since their new website was built so look for all documentation for products at Moates.net.
