    Buy TunerPro for $39. and you can data log and tune bin file in same program. All files are free and all files are custumizble. You can add dozens of history tables, MPG calclaters etc... also set up data tracing so you can watch what VE or Spark cell you are in while data loogging right in your bin file...

    Well you can't plug the ribbon cable in wrong into AutoProm it only goes one way. Instructions say and have always worked for me are:

    "2.Hook the 28-pin ribbon cable header to the ECM chip adapter socket. Make sure the ‘red’ wire points toward where the notch, or Pin1, would be on a chip normally going in the socket."

    Your saying you had the red stripe wire on other side of where notch in chip is and it worked? That is strange? Wonder if your ribbon cable was made wrong? Have you done other ECMs the correct way? Strange... I know I broke one rule once and emulation was strange but not hooked up backwards, was I had a chip in Zif socket and not supposed to while emulating...

    Have not been able too...pc laptop fried a while ago, and i have an iPad2 now. I will hook it up to my 7747 at some point..but it will be a while.

    Just getting back to cruising the forum and saw your problem. I have an engine mocked after a zz383 with World heads and a stock modified tpi setup. I'm running a custom tune on obd1 without any problems so far. I'll get some specs to you when I look them back up. Btw it in a 91 camaro
