I know a lot of people say just stick with ac delco plugs but i have a MSD hot coil, MSD Pro-Billet dist, and MSD 8.5mm wires so I dont want something as simple as my plugs be my weakest link in my ignition system!

I'm looking at NGK plugs, AC Delco, or Accel U-groove...if your running or have tried any of this any insite is appropriated!
    Thanks Devin

And how is this related to TBI tuning?

The forum is TBI tuning, not everything about tbi trucks.

    Re: spark plugs

I have had no issues with AC plugs so I haven't needed to experiment with any other brands.

And your assumptions have the expected outcome. Can you read? Can you follow the rules?

I realize you choose not to...grow up.

In case you weren't aware, you'll need vortec specific spark plugs. There's a huge difference between vortec plugs and plugs for earlier sbc heads. I'd also keep a spare coil in your truck for when that msd coil takes a ****.

I changed to msd ignition box, pro-billet distributor, hot coil, 8.5mm wires, i went from cr-43ts ac delco plugs gapped at 0.35 to ac delco rapid fire 1 plugs now gapped at 0.40 on my 91 3/4 ton 4 wd v2500 suburban have never had any problems with plugs . If that helps you.

yeah the vortec plugs have a much longer reach i looked it up its a .708. I'll keep that in mind about the coil I really hope I have better luck.

FWIW I have an MSD blaster replacement coil, probably 100k on it now with no issues.

I had the same one and it lasted a couple years before failing and leaving me stranded. Those msd coils seem to be pretty hit or miss in terms of reliability. Sounds like you got one of the good ones.
