I am not really in the market yet seeing as I need more power and plenty of other work done on my truck but we got talking about light weight drag wheels the other day at work.

Has anyone ever seen 8 lug drag fronts or rears? When(if) it ever comes time I will probably get 1500 spindles and swap the front to 6 lug(if wheels are available) or just get the lightest skinniest 8 lug wheels I can. Obviously if someone knows of 8 lug drag lights that would be best.

Thanks if anyone has any info to help me out.

I don't know of any but I had an adapter made for a classic mini cooper pattern to honda wheels . Could you do an adapter for yours ?

You can get adapters for about anything. They aren't always the best idea. I found some from Holeshot wheels for $461 each for a 16x10. I didn't figure they would be cheap but that is just plain stupid.

I am sure it isn't something I will stumble upon used so my plan for when it comes time, is to just get the lightest wheel I can. If you figure I can get a nice fairly light wheel for $100-$125(I work at a tire shop) so that comes to a total of $250 or so. I can spend the other 6-7 hundred on HP to make up for the extra weight of the wheels.
