ive noticed a clunk in my rear driveline lately usually just after i leave from a dead stop and sometimes at first shift. both u joints are fine but i did notice some play when i pull and push on the output shaft of the tranny. truck is an 03 2500 with the 6.0/4l80e. my dad has an 04 half ton and it is tight so i think something is wrong with my tranny. is there suppost to be any play? this is the only thing that seems to be loose in all the rear end/suspension.
